Well it tickled my fancy to read this great recap of the Montreal Girl Geek Dinner events on Jennifer Cyr's blog
I really appreciate that Jen mentions that "startup/techie/networking events provide her with learning experiences that may come in handy down the road" and that she thinks that these events provide a great way for looking at community involvement and participation in local groups.
