Our page has been online for over a month now but we had yet to officially let everyone know. We needed to figure out what we’d use Twitter as it relates to the Montreal Girl Geek Dinners.
If you are unfamiliar with Twitter, here’s a short video that explains it all.
This is what we intend to use our Twitter page for:
- broadcasting our latest blog posts, events and dinners
- posting interesting links related to the Girl Geek community around the world
- live Tweeting during our events and dinners
- keeping track of and comment on relevant conversations
- asking for your opinions and comments on various topics
- recaping our events and dinners

Great idea! very geeky ;-)
I would ask, though, would it be possible to continue posting next meeting plans in other formats too (facebook / blog)? Because on twitter, if you tweek the announcement but i don't check my twitter for days, i won't see your announcement go by.

Not to worry. We aren't planning to let go of Facebook announcements nor the blog messages. Twitter is simply another great tool to reach more people.
